The Rolling Stones - Live at the Marquee #4 by Alec Byrne

$1,500.00

In March of 1972, the Rolling Stones performed a small club show at London’s legendary Marquee Club at the end of a UK tour, and just prior to the release of the their classic album Sticky Fingers. In financial straits, the band were about to leave Britain as tax exiles, decamping to the south of France where they would record their next album, Exile on Main Street. The gig was filmed for American television but not released to the public until 2015. This print was created for an exhibition Alec staged at the time, featuring many unseen photographs from that special evening. This particular photo was captured by Alec during soundcheck as Mick Taylor, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards did a quick run-through of the soon to be classic “Wild Horses."
