Iggy Pop, King’s Cross #2 by Alec Byrne

$2,400.00

In 1972, Iggy Pop set up camp in London at the urging of his new manager who was introduced to him by David Bowie. After a fruitless search for a new backing band, Mr. Pop re-formed the recently broken up Stooges and put on a single show at the King’s Cross Cinema. This classic image was discovered along with a treasure trove of other photos from the gig during the editing process for Alec’s book, LONDON ROCK: The Unseen Archive (Insight Editions).
