Launching a new brand with my very dear friends Jami and Klaus Heidegger is one of the wonderful extras that one gets when doing business with talented , smart and big hearted people for over 30 years.   I met Jami’s father Aaron in his eponymous store Kiehls in NY City. We were the first boutique in Los Angeles to carry the entire Kiehls line in the 80’s. Jami and Klaus took over the business and grew it even larger, then sold it to Loreal. I tell this story to lend credence to the knowledge of the skincare business they have. Several years after that Jami and Klaus showed me the product they had named Retrouve’. It started as a special customization for Jami, being able to use the most exquisite ingredients with only focus on preparing the absolute finest quality, most efficient skincare product.
